1. How to create a Virtual Machine with an operating system of my choice?

The system's installation on the CC1 cloud:

  1. Add image of the installation disk to VM resources → ISO Disks,
  2. Run virtual machine with any VM Image, attach previously created ISO image during VM's creation.
  3. Connect to VM via VNC (it should be automaticly ran from the attached ISO Image).
  4. Install new system without keeping existing system.
  5. Close Virtual Machine from inside (shutdown command) to have it saved.
  6. When saving is done, VM Image with newly installed system shall be present as autosaved within private VM Images list.
Installation of system at local machine:
  1. Create Virtual Machine on Linux-powered machine, using virt-manager.
  2. Install operating system on it.
  3. Make newly created image available via WWW or FTP.
  4. Add VM image via CC1 web interface.
VM image's conversion. There is an ability to convert VM created by some other software (eg. VirtualBox or VMWare) to CC1-supported format. To achieve it you should save VM disk to raw format.
